'Infotools' was established in the year 1989 by Mr. Madhav Karandikar, an entrepreneur from Pune.
The experience of working as Director in MOD Computers Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai for a period of two years came in handy to make a beginning.

Mr. Madhav Karandikar is a Life member of Computer Society of India

The initial business came in the form of Corporate Training.

This lead to contacts in the legal fraternity at Mumbai. Some attorneys, practicing at the High Court of Mumbai asked us to develop a billing software for them. These attorneys are members of the Bombay Bar Association Some asked for Computer hardware and some asked for leasing options for computer and peripherals purchase.

This made our spectrum of working very broad.

After dabbling for a period of 3 - 4 years in this wide spectrum around 1995 management decided to concentrate on software development and Corporate Training.

A good opportunity came our way from Seed Infotech Ltd. a leading training institute from Pune in Information Technology and Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC)

Till 2007, we were producing run-of-mill software products. This has lead to specialization in designing software for professionals.

Year 2008 saw a paradigm shift in software development funda at our company. We decided to provide web based solutions using PHP & MySQL platform.

To have focus on the untapped market of those who desire to have a low cost website, we started looking forward to splitting production and marketing operations in two separate entities.

In year 2008 we decided to elevate Ms. Poonam Shah as Partner designate. The ever enthusiastic, dedicated approach towards work brought her this status. Today, 3rd Oct 2010, she is comfortably shouldering the full responsibility of production unit.
